In the early hours of today, a member of the presidential campaign council (PCC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC); Ajuri Ngelale, was granted an interview on Arise News where he spoke about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “soaked sliced bread” comment made while campaigning in Enugu state.

Ajuri Ngelale said, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not say he will deal with the southeast if they don’t vote for him.” He added, “that was the colouration given to the ‘soaked sliced bread’ statement Tinubu made and I am telling you that it was a wrong interpretation.”
