Why Ikenga’s Residence Was Attacked And His Vehicles Set Ablaze – Governor Hope Uzodinma
The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma has reacted to reports that ‘unknown gunmen’ invaded the residence of Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere where they killed his uncle and set his vehicles ablaze. (Source: Thisday)
Ikenga is the National Spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP). He is also the PDP’s House of Representatives candidate for Ideato Federal Constituency In Imo State. In an interview with a journalist, Governor Uzodinma said security agencies gave him evidence that Ikenga was attacked for breaching an agreement he had with his attackers.
In Governor Uzodinma’s exact words, “The politician whose house was attacked, I have already in my security report all the meetings he had with those who don’t want election according to them in Biafra land. I have evidence with security agencies where they met and the people are saying that he breached their agreement, that after agreeing with them that they will be no election in Biafra land, he is contesting an election. So go and ask the security agents”
