Osun Tribunal: Not All Data Was Transmitted When APC Obtained BVAS Server Report – INEC
In the aftermath of judgement by the Osun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has provided clarifications on the discrepancy related to the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).
Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lost his election on Friday as a result of excessive voting and additional votes going to Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, putting him ahead of Adeleke.
Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi, a former director of voter education and publicity at INEC, claimed there shouldn’t have been a discrepancy in the 2022 Osun State governorship election during a live interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Monday.
